The Emory University Psychological Center offers low cost mental health services ranging from $18-$60. The clinic was established to serve as an internship facility for advanced clinical graduate students, and to provide psychological and counseling services to the Atlanta community.

Families First provides counseling support via secure video or telephone for individuals, children, adolescents, and families navigating challenges such as recent violent events, COVID-19, job losses, and trauma. Their professional clinicians offer non-judgmental, empathetic care, and accept most insurance. They also offer sliding scale or pro-bono options for financial assistance. 

Join Feeding GA Families every Monday for a Drive-Thru Food Pantry at 2514 W Point Ave, Atlanta, GA 30337. Pick-up hours start at 2:30 pm, and you can pre-registration or drive up for service. Pre-registered attendees may receive additional limited-quantity items. Additionally, non-food items are provided once a month while supplies last. Whether you register online or drive up for service, everyone is welcome.

The Grocery Spot is a food pantry located at 2615 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. At The Grocery Spot, everyone is welcome to shop, and no applications or appointments are needed. The general public can visit on Mondays from 3-6 pm, and teachers/school staff, city/state workers, and EMS/first responders with valid work ID can visit on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-6 pm.

The National ReEntry Resource Center  is a one-stop resource for all aspects of reentry, including providing support and assistance to individuals transitioning from incarceration back into their communities. They have programs and services related to employment, housing, education, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, and more.

The Investors Academy was established in 2015 as a resource to support veterans and parolees. The Investors Academy currently has 3 Transitional Houses that serve veterans and partner with Habitat for Humanity to help clients earn emploment. They also offer a food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

FirstStep Staffing is a organization that requires an in-person orientation and a one-on-one meeting with a job coach. After that, clients are matched with an employer and placed in a job within 48-72 hours. They can also connect clients to resources and services such as housing, healthcare, food and clothing needs, and more.

The Georgia Fatherhood program is an employment-based service that focuses on providing services that can help the noncustodial parent achieve self-sufficiency. It also encourages parents to increase emotional, parental and financial involvement in the lives of the noncustodial parent’s children.

The Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency offers life stabilization, employment readiness, job placement/retention services to financially vulnerable individuals (homeless, imminently homeless, or low-income). They also provide 12 months of career placement/vocational training assistance, case management, and continued job retention and mentoring support. 

New Transition is an organization that provides vital support for families and youth in various communities around Atlanta. From housing and job assistance to educational resources and baby items, each location offers valuable services tailored to the needs of its community.
